Purpose of The Role:

mPulse Mobile is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our enthusiastic and talented team. In this role you will enhance the value of our company by working with our sales directors to engage potential healthcare customers, understanding their mobile strategy and their technology, and proposing mobile solutions that engage and activate their patient populations.

You will work with technical staff to ensure that client technical, functional and delivery requirements can be met from a viewpoint.

As a Sales Engineer, you must be comfortable speaking in front of and collaborating with customers. You will give presentations explaining the functional and technical aspects of products and how they relate to solving specific customer problems.

You must be able to take ownership and deliver quality proposals and responses to RFI’s, RFP’s and security assessments on time.

You must become a solution expert and achieve deep knowledge of each component of the solution’s modules and functions as well as a solid understanding of the technical underpinnings.

You must be thorough and unrelenting in your quest for perfect technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will be professional, energetic and have a passion for helping customers solve challenging problems.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in infrastructure related to cloud and mobile solutions
  • Experience working with healthcare clients (either providers or plans)
  • Experience responding to highly technical and functional RFIs/RFPs
  • Four-year degree
  • 30% Travel


Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • HIMSS Certifications (CAHIMS  or CPHIMS)
  • Experience in clinical settings
  • JSON
  • HL7 / FIHR
  • Software Engineering / Development
  • 2+ years of Pre-sales, Business Analysis, or Consulting work experience
  • Computer Science Degree
